This time I came to Hongqiao, Shanghai for a business trip and stayed at The QUBE Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao with a try it out attitude. Originally, I only used it as a temporary stop for attending exhibitions. After staying for three days, those small demands that were caught without saying anything made me completely remember the temperature of this hotel.
The day I landed in Shanghai, it happened to be a rainstorm. I dragged two boxes of exhibition samples out of the subway station, and my pants were wet. As soon as I walked to the hotel entrance, the gatekeeper immediately greeted me with a large umbrella, tightly protecting me and the box under the umbrella. Half of my shoulder was completely drenched. Within two minutes of entering the lobby, the front desk handed me a clean dry towel and a cup of hot ginger tea. With a smile, he said that it was easy to catch a cold while traveling on rainy days, so he had to warm up first before completing the procedures. This sudden thoughtfulness instantly dispelled my embarrassment along the way.
Not long after I put down my luggage in the room, room service called and asked me softly if the air conditioning temperature was appropriate, and if I needed to borrow a hair dryer and dry pockets if my pants were wet. I casually mentioned that I walked too much today and my ankle was a bit sore. In less than ten minutes, the waiter brought me soothing massage cream and heated foot pads. He also specifically told me that if I soak my feet at night, I can call the front desk at any time to have a foot soaking bucket brought up. Later on, I found out that in the hotel's "hidden needs list", even guests' sleep preferences and dietary restrictions can be noted in advance, which is not a rigid process service.
The next day, I had to catch up with the exhibition during the morning rush hour. The night before, I casually mentioned to the front desk that I was afraid of getting up late. The next morning, before leaving, I had already left my packed breakfast at the front desk and wrapped my hot coffee in a thermos bag to prevent it from getting cold on the way. When I walked to the exhibition center, I realized that the USB drive containing the customer's core information had been left in the room. With a try and see attitude, I called back to the hotel. The front desk immediately contacted the room staff to find the USB drive, afraid that I wouldn't make it to the important meeting. They arranged for the staff to take a taxi to the entrance of the exhibition center, even politely refusing the fare I had to pay.
On the day I left, when I was packing my luggage, I found that there were too many souvenirs I bought for the exhibition to fit in. The front desk took the initiative to bring me free packing boxes and tape, and even helped me seal the edges and corners tightly. I took a taxi to the high-speed railway station, and the doorman helped me load all the boxes onto the train. They also specifically reminded me that the entrance of the high-speed railway station is currently under road construction, so that the driver can take the smoothest route to avoid taking detours and wasting time.
I stayed for three days without any perfunctory response or overlooked small details. The QUBE Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao does not rely on fancy internet celebrity decorations to attract attention, but uses genuine sincerity to turn the panic of rushing into steadfastness. When I come back to Shanghai Hongqiao in the future, my first choice is definitely here.Show more
